    Hi, I’m Axel — founder and creative director of Skylit Studio. If you've ever emailed us, DM’d us, or placed an order, chances are you’ve already spoken to me.

    I started Skylit Studio to help people celebrate their most meaningful moments in a way that’s both personal and timeless. Whether it’s a wedding night, a birth, or your first kiss under the stars — I believe memories like these deserve more than just a photo on your phone. They deserve a place on your wall.

    From designing each map and hand-picking the paper, to tying the ribbons and handing off the parcels to the couriers — I oversee every step. We don’t outsource anything, because I believe real quality comes from putting your name behind your work.

    THE SKYLIT STUDIO

    Our studio is housed in a home that has stood since 1841 — a time when Britain was undergoing immense transformation. The Victorian era had just begun, Queen Victoria was only four years into her reign, and the Industrial Revolution was reshaping how people lived, worked, and moved through the world.

    In the early 1840s, homes like this were crafted with durability and detail in mind — intricate woodwork, solid brickwork, and a sense of timelessness that still lingers today. This house has seen nearly two centuries of history unfold — from the days of horse-drawn carriages and gas lamps to the digital world we live in now.

    It’s no coincidence — or perhaps it is — that Skylit Studio found its home here. In a way, the stars truly aligned to bring me to this space. When I first came to view this property, I knew it held something special. It wasn’t just a house — it felt like a story waiting to be told. A place that, like our star maps, would hold onto moments, memories, and meaning.

    Today, this is where our celestial keepsakes are brought to life. Just as our maps capture the night sky at a meaningful moment, this house captures its own stories — of those who’ve passed through, and those who now create within its walls.
