Order Management

Can I make changes to my order after placing it?

If your order hasn't gone to print yet, we’re happy to make adjustments. Please email us at help@skylitstudio.co.uk as soon as possible with your order number and request.

Can I cancel my order after it's been placed?

We begin processing your star map shortly after your order is placed, so cancellations may not always be possible. Please get in touch with us as soon as possible via one of the methods available on this page, and we’ll do our best to help.

How do I update my delivery address?

If your order hasn’t been shipped yet, we can usually update your delivery address. Just get in touch with us with your new address details via one of the methods available on this page.

Can I reorder a previous design?

Absolutely! If you’ve ordered before and want the same design again, let us know the email used and approximate order date—we’ll retrieve the design and help you reorder it.

Forgot to add gift note?

Email orders@skylitstudio.co.uk and include:
     1. Order number (e.g. #1107)
     2. Your “name” & “text” as you want it to appear on the note

Shipping & Delivery

Can I track my order?

Yes! As soon as your order ships, we’ll email you a tracking number so you can follow its journey right to your door.

How quickly will I receive my order?

UK orders generally take anywhere from 1-3 working days to arrive at your doors, however, during busier periods this can, of course, vary a little bit.

International orders can take anywhere from 5-20 days, see Shipping Policy for a better indication of shipping times.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use trusted carriers like Royal Mail, DPD, UPS, and international partners depending on your location, to ensure safe and reliable delivery.

Do you offer express delivery?

We do! Express shipping options are available at checkout for UK and selected international destinations.

Is shipping free?

You are able to see any shipping fees at the checkout stage once you've put in the delivery address.

There are also free shipping thresholds for most of the popular destinations such as USA, Canada, Australia and most of Europe.

  • For Canada the threshold is $90
  • For Australia the threshold is $99
  • For Europe the threshold is €60

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do, in fact, we ship to almost anywhere in the world! If for some reason your country doesn't show up please send us a message and we will correct this.

How do I know the star or moon map is accurate?

We use precise astronomical data to recreate the sky exactly as it appeared on your selected date and location. Learn more on our page about The Astronomical Precision Behind Our Star Maps.

How do you ensure quality?

At Skylit Studio, we don’t rely on third-party fulfilment centres — every star and moon map is created, printed, and packed by us. This hands-on approach means we’re able to carefully oversee every step of the process. We use premium paper, high-definition inks, and precise print technology to ensure a beautiful, lasting result. Each map is personally quality-checked before dispatch, so you can trust it’s been crafted with genuine care and attention to detail.

Returns & Cancellations

What is the return policy?

We will replace all defective items with a new item within 30 days of shipment arrival as per your statutory rights. Please get in touch with us to report any such issue, so we can assist you as soon as possible. For further details please also refer to the Refund Policy.

Can I return a customised product?

Because each map is personalised, we can't accept returns unless the item arrives damaged or there’s a production error. Please reach out if there’s a problem—we’re here to make it right.

Can I choose a different quote or add my own?

Yes, you can! Every design allows you to include your own message, quote or caption, making it uniquely yours.

Are there multiple layout options or styles?

Definitely. You can choose from various styles, colours and themes—from minimalist to starry skies—right in our design tool.

Can I see a live preview while designing?

Yes! Our custom builder gives you a real-time preview of your design so you can see how it will look before placing your order. If you want to see the final preview, send us an e-mail after you've placed your order quoting your order number and we'll send you a preview!

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Yes, we do! At Skylit Studio, we offer a simple yet elegant gift wrapping option — your framed map can be tied with a nice ribbon, available in a range of beautiful colours to suit any occasion. It's the perfect finishing touch if you’re sending your star or moon map as a gift. You can add gift wrapping at checkout or browse our ribbon options here.
