Dispatch & Processing

All orders are processed, printed, and shipped from our facility in Manchester, United Kingdom. We operate online only and do not accept walk-in customers or provide pickup services.

Personalised star maps are typically printed and ready for dispatch on the same working day. Orders placed by 3PM on working days are dispatched the same day, ensuring the fastest possible delivery to you.

Working days are Monday through Friday, excluding UK public holidays and our company holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Canvas prints may require an extra working day for dispatch due to the stretching and finishing process. Where possible, we will still aim to dispatch canvas orders the same day, but please allow up to 1 extra working day for canvas items. If your order contains both canvas and non-canvas items, the entire order will be dispatched together once all items are ready.

Saturday & Sunday delivery — book early. Weekend delivery is dispatched via courier and needs to be booked on a weekday. Monday–Thursday is safest; Friday is cutting it close and may not always make it in time. If you need it on a specific weekend day, please order by Thursday.

Size restriction: Saturday and Sunday delivery is only available on prints up to 40×50 cm (framed). The larger 50×70 cm and 60×80 cm framed sizes ship via standard courier on weekdays only.

Tracking Your Order

  • As soon as your order is dispatched, a tracking number will be provided via email and available in your account dashboard.
  • For international orders, real-time tracking updates may only start once the package reaches the destination country (typically within 2-5 days).

Customs & Import Fees

Prices shown at checkout for international destinations include delivery, customs duties and import taxes. Skylit Studio prepays these on your behalf, so your order arrives with nothing to pay on delivery and no customs paperwork for you.

  • The total you see at checkout is the total cost of your order. Couriers and postal services will not ask you for additional import charges.
  • Because delivery duty and import taxes are prepaid as part of your order, they are non-refundable if a parcel is refused or not collected. See our Refund Policy for details.

Shipping delays can occasionally occur due to national holidays, customs processing, weather conditions, or courier service disruptions.   • Address changes after dispatch may not be possible.
  • We cannot ship to PO Boxes for expedited services.
