When will my order arrive?

Every print is made to order in our Manchester studio, and orders placed by 3pm on a working day are dispatched the same day. Below is how long delivery really takes once a parcel leaves us, measured from the tracking on our own parcels, so you can choose the option that fits your date.

Free Royal Mail Tracked 48: how long it really takes

Royal Mail aims to deliver Tracked 48 in two to three working days. Here is what our own parcels did, counted in days from the day we dispatched them, weekends included.

Most parcels get their first Royal Mail scan overnight and arrive on time. Now and then a parcel waits longer for that first scan, and those are the ones that take four working days or more. Parcels dispatched on a Thursday or Friday often arrive over the weekend or on Monday, as Royal Mail delivers on Saturdays too.

Need it by a certain day?

If you have a birthday, anniversary or event on a fixed date, a timed service is the safer choice.

How we measure this

For every parcel we compare the day it left us with the day Royal Mail's tracking shows it delivered. Since September 2026 each parcel is also scanned out when we hand it to Royal Mail, and for those we count from that handover; for earlier parcels we count from the day its label was made, which is the same day or earlier, so those figures can only err on the slow side. The figures cover every free Royal Mail Tracked 48 parcel sent to UK addresses over the last twelve months, from 3 November 2025 to 30 October 2026, and they update every morning. A delivery attempt when nobody is home counts as delivered. The chart counts plain days, weekends included; where we mention working days, those are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.
