How a 3D landmark map
comes together.
Pick a landmark, frame the angle, choose the lighting. Real Mapbox 3D building data renders the world's most-loved monuments as a print — 31 cities, four times of day, four tabs.
31 popular landmarks
Big Ben, Eiffel Tower, Empire State, Sydney Opera House — one tap loads each, framed correctly.
Four lighting modes
Dawn, Day, Dusk or Night — same model, four moods. Each suits a different room and time of day.
Real 3D buildings
Mapbox extrudes actual buildings from real-world data — not stock illustrations. Tilt to see the skyline.

Choose your palette & lighting.
Orientation, lighting, layout, composition and one of 25 themes. Lighting is the 3D-landmark-only step that fundamentally changes the mood of the whole print.

Orientation
Portrait or Landscape. Landscape suits sweeping skylines; portrait suits taller landmarks like the Eiffel Tower or Burj Khalifa.
Lighting
Dawn (peach + soft shadows), Day (bright neutrals), Dusk (warm magenta sky), or Night (cool blues with road glow).
Layout
Full canvas, faded edges, circle vignette, or heart-shaped silhouette — same four shape options as the regular location map.
Composition
Classic, Boxed, Panel, Header or Gradient — five ways to lay out the title and details around the print.
Theme
25 themed palettes that retune the matte tone. Themes affect the print's frame and text colour, not the 3D scene itself — that's controlled by Lighting.

One scene, four times of day.
The buildings stay still. The sun, sky and shadows don't. Dawn warms the stone with a peach glow, Dusk burns the sky magenta behind the silhouette, and Night plunges everything into cool blues with road lights threading through.
Match lighting to the room — Dawn and Dusk for living rooms with warm wood; Day for bright, clean interiors; Night for studies, hallways and bedrooms.
Pick your landmark.
Search any address — or skip to one of 31 hand-picked Popular POIs. One tap flies the camera in, frames the building, and tilts the angle for you.

Thirty-one one-tap landmarks.
From Big Ben and the London Eye to the Eiffel Tower, Empire State, Sagrada Família, Brandenburg Gate, Christ the Redeemer, Petronas Towers and Sydney Opera House — every chip pre-frames the camera at the angle that flatters the building best.
Free-form search still works for everything else: type a postcode or street name and pan/rotate manually. Popular POIs are just there to skip the fiddly bit.

Eiffel Tower
The Champ de Mars and the Seine in one frame, with the tower rising from the wireframe latticework.

Empire State
Looking down Fifth Avenue. The grid of midtown skyscrapers stacks behind the building like a city section.

Sydney Opera House
The shells on the harbour edge, framed by the water on three sides and the botanical gardens behind.

Big Ben, after dark
Same building, Night lighting. The clock face glows, road lines thread through Westminster, and the whole print takes on a moodier feel.
Search Location
Type any city, postcode or place name. Useful when your moment is somewhere not on the popular list.
Zoom Level
Slider from country to single-block. Most landmarks look best fairly close in — Popular POIs set this for you.
Rotate & Tilt
Bend the camera off-axis for the proper "skyline angle". Right-click and drag, or use the sliders for precise values.
Reset
One tap returns rotation and tilt to zero. Handy if you've gone exploring and want to start clean.
Write the words.
A title and subtitle live beneath the print, with eight fonts to choose from. Or sign your own title in your own hand. Coordinates show automatically — toggle off for a cleaner finish.

Title
The headline of the print. "Where We Said I Do", "Our Honeymoon", a date — anything that names the moment.
Subtitle
A second line beneath. Often the city name and country (auto-fills when you tap a Popular POI).
Handwritten Title
Toggle on for a canvas. Sign with a finger, mouse or Apple Pencil — your stroke replaces the typed title on the print.
Font
Eight families spanning serif, sans, hand-script and modern display. Each tile renders in its own typeface.
Show Coordinates
Toggle to print the precise latitude and longitude beneath the subtitle. On for the geo-detail, off for a cleaner finish.
