Big Ben, your angle.
The Elizabeth Tower and the Houses of Parliament, rendered in 3D from real map data. Rotate, tilt and zoom to the view you want, pick a colour theme to match your room, and we'll print it from our Manchester studio.
THE STORY
316 feet of Victorian gothic, ringing every hour since 1859.
The clock is called the Great Clock. The bell is Big Ben. The tower itself — the one almost everyone calls Big Ben — was renamed the Elizabeth Tower in 2012 for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Architect Augustus Pugin designed it as the closing punctuation mark on Charles Barry's Palace of Westminster, completed three years before his own death.
The print you'll design is a stylised 3D map centred on the tower, with Parliament, Westminster Bridge and the Thames around it — all drawn from real geographic data, not artist interpretation.
SHOWN IN 3D
Three dimensions, not flat outlines.
Most map prints stop at flat top-down silhouettes. This one doesn't. The Elizabeth Tower renders as a detailed 3D model — four clock faces, the gothic spires, the lantern at the top — sitting above Parliament, the bridge and the river, all extruded from real geographic data. It's stylised map art rather than a photograph, but it's a long way from the watercolour silhouettes most prints settle for.
Pick dawn, day or dusk for the lighting. Pick a colour theme — classic ink, ivory, midnight, monochrome and more. Tilt the camera anywhere from straight-down to near-horizon, rotate to any compass bearing, zoom to the crop you want. Every choice you make is in the print.
WHO IT'S FOR
Year-abroad anniversaries, first-time London memories, and the date you finally heard it chime.
Some Big Ben prints commemorate a specific moment — the night you got engaged on Westminster Bridge, the morning of your first London job, the hour you first heard the bell strike from the South Bank. The customizer lets you drop a pin (or several) and the print shows them right where they belong on the map.
Others want just the tower, the bridge and the river — undecorated, framed, hung above a fireplace as a quiet record of a city someone loved. Both ship from Manchester rolled, framed or canvas-wrapped.
