Wedding Moon Map
The moon that watched you say 'I do'.
A Wedding Moon Map is the exact lunar phase above your venue at the moment you said your vows. The illuminated arc, the craters, the subtle terminator line — rendered from astronomical data and paired with your date, your venue, and a private message.
It's one of the rare wedding gifts that captures something atmospheric — not a portrait of the day, but a portrait of the sky on the day. Made to hang somewhere you'll both look up at, often.

Wedding Moon Map — your questions answered
What if it was a new moon — does anything show?
Yes. Even a new moon prints beautifully — the moon disc shows the full lunar surface with the illuminated portion subtly rendered. Many couples actually prefer new-moon prints because the focus is on the moon's surface itself rather than the phase.
Which moon style suits a wedding gift?
Silver is the most-chosen for weddings — timeless and elegant, suits any decor. Gold works beautifully with warm palettes or rustic venues. Skylit pairs the moon with a starry backdrop for a more cinematic feel. Try the styles in the customizer above to see them on the wall.
Should I use the time of vows or the time of the first dance?
Most couples choose the vows because it's the most symbolic. The moon phase changes very slowly across an evening, so the print will look essentially the same whichever you pick. The customizer shows a live preview so you can compare.
Can I print the venue name?
Yes. The customizer has a dedicated location field — it auto-populates from the geocoded venue and you can override it with anything you like (e.g. "The Treehouse, Alnwick Garden").
What frame works best for wedding decor?
Natural oak for rustic and outdoor venues, white for minimalist or modern interiors, black for bold gallery walls. Dark brown suits heritage or antique homes. Unframed prints ship rolled in a protective tube (A4 unframed ships flat) and fit any standard frame you already own.
How fast can you deliver for the wedding?
Same-day processing if ordered before 3pm UK time. Standard UK delivery 2–3 working days. For wedding-day delivery please order at least 7 working days before — drop us a note if it's tight and we'll prioritise.
One moon. One night. One of a kind.
The moon above your wedding happens once and only once. A moon map is the only way to keep it.
